Current Position:State Manager & 2nd Interview Hiring Manager
What was your previous occupation prior to becoming a part of Buffett Senior Healthcare (college acceptable)?I was in Retail Sales for close to one year.
Why did you choose a career with BSH?The economy is killing retail sales. However, success with BSH is not affected by the economy. Not one bit! Also, we sell to the senior citizen market, which is obviously doing nothing but growing in numbers and thus, so are our associates' sales! If I had to say one thing, it would be job security coupled with financial security.
How many years of sales experience did you have prior to working for BSH?I had no prior outside sales experience.
What was the most difficult part of your learning curve with BSH?Being a woman, the most difficult part of my learning curve with BSH was training my body to keep up with my mind. Associates must be prepared and comfortable with a fast paced environment.
Describe your career BSH?I was in the field working preset appointments for 6 months before my renewals (residuals) earned me the ability to secure a position within the Company that allowed me to come out of the field on a full time basis.
Give a few pieces of advice to people considering applying for a position with BSH.This position takes a hold of you and you can't stop thinking about it! I knew that success wasn't merely lacing up my shoes and taking a walk. Success with BSH is a full out sprint! There is so much success offered through BSH that everyone is racing for their part of our future. Since I began with BSH I have not only trained my body to keep up with my mind, but I have organized my time so that I can make each minute of every day count. If all we have is time, why not make it work for us instead of against us?
